Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home has been a long established presence on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Since its inception in the early 1900's, serving Greensboro and surrounding towns including those in neighboring Delaware, our funeral home holds a reputation of professional care and service to these communities. Formerly known as the Boulais Funeral Home, Steve and Sue Fleegle purchased the Funeral Home from the Boulias Family in 1988. Today, our full time staff includes Steve and Sue Fleegle, Terry Cooper and Cathy Biddle. Terry began his funeral service training with Mr. Jack Boulias in the early 1980's. As set forth by Mr. Boulias, we continue the dedication to our community as he so proudly did. Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home maintains full licensure in Maryland and Delaware making it possible to be a full service funeral home for families and communities in both states. There are many times we are called upon to bring a loved one home from another state or distant country as well as performing the delicate task of sending a loved one to another state or country. We have provided services to families as far away as Maine, Florida, California and even the Panama Canal. It is not unusual for many of the families we serve to have loved ones returned to Mexico or Central America.
